2011 San Leonardo, Tenuta San Leonardo

2011 San Leonardo, Tenuta San Leonardo

A homage to the art of winemaking

This classic Bordeaux blend is crafted from carefully selected grapes harvested from the oldest vines of the renowned Tenuta San Leonardo. A masterful cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Merlot that seamlessly combines authenticity and finesse.

In the glass, a deep, radiant ruby red. On the nose, an enchanting potpourri of red fruits—black cherry and blackcurrant—layered with delicate hints of spices, leather, cocoa, and a touch of tobacco. So multifaceted that it’s almost impossible to pull away from the bouquet.

On the palate, the hinted power fully unfolds with remarkable precision. Ripe berry fruit is framed by firm yet silkily integrated tannins. A delicate sweetness lingers, amplifying the sensation of pure bliss. The finish is long and impressive, marked by dark chocolate, ripe plums, and spicy nuances, all carried by a subtle minerality.

The complexity of this wine is already evident, promising even greater depth over the next five to ten years. But for those who choose to uncork it now—there is no disappointment, only the lingering question of what further delights the future may hold…
